Good Morning Valerie! We do have a feature that presents a preview if yourself in the dashboard before you start the call. I would make sure it is enabled.

Click Account Settings, then the room tab. The setting you are looking for is called "Camera Preview in Dashboard". Toggle that on (green) and go back to the dashboard and you should be able to see yourself. Then Bryan's feedback can help you ensure the details are squared away before you start the call.

Hi Valerie. Those don't sound like fun surprises! I do have one suggestion for you. If you want to see your preview a little larger, you can use enlarge the preview by using your keyboard. Depending on whether you have a Mac or PC. For a Mac, you'll want to hold down the Command key and then press the + key a couple of times. For a PC, hold down the Control key and then press the + key a couple of times. You can zoom back out using the - key instead of the + key. Try it out.
