I've noticed that the image I see of my own camera in Doxy is not the same as what others see. Specifically, a small strip at the bottom of the image is not seen by others on Doxy calls. I've noticed this with multiple people on Doxy who use multiple types of devices.
I know that my camera is functioning perfectly well (using a Logitech Brio) because I can consistently see the more complete image in my own camera preview, as well as in the in-call view of myself.
I'm not sure if this is related to the Doxy system as a whole or to specific types of cameras, but please ensure that these images are more consistent across devices.

There needs to be an option to turn on an overlay on the doctors video that shows the guidelines of where different resolution devices are displaying.
I.e. with a 1080p landscape camera, you must be dead center, or an iphone user will only see half your face.

I'm sorry to hear you are going through this! It sounds like this is a layout bug. Would you be willing to work with our support team to help us get an idea of what you're experiencing? They can meet with you to gather the information so we can try to reproduce it and gather data needed so we can get a fix in place? I am alerting them so they can reach out. The image your patient sees is often dictated by the device that they are using as well as your doxy.me resolution settings. For most users, we recommend making sure your image is in the center of your preview image, typically showing shoulder height and up. I've attached an example image below.
